I am a bi-lingual counsellor based in the South of France offering counselling - psychotherapy and art therapy.
I have a private practice in Le Gers- 32330 , offering face to face, phone and Skype counselling to adults, couples and adolescents who are suffering from specific problems, or who just need to understand themselves/ others/ situations better. The sessions offer a confidential space, a safe and private environment where one can openly discuss and explore issues, therefore opening the possibility for better wellbeing. This can be on a short term or long term basis, and it will be for you to decide in relation to your needs.
I also offer supervision to practitioners, or other professionals who are working in different fields, as well as training and group facilitation. Part of my professional practice can include, if requested, Art Therapy, individually or in groups.
My approach is humanistic, and more specifically Person-Centred, considering the person(s) as the expert(s) of their own lives and experiences, and receiving /accompanying those with respect, acceptance, authenticity and empathy.
I trained professionally in England in 1995 (Person-Centred Diploma and Master in Counselling at the University of East Anglia), and since then I have been practicing as a counsellor in private practice, medical centres and different associations as well as enterprises.
I have worked many years as a trainer (from introduction to diploma courses), as a group facilitator and supervisor.
Interested in the use of art materials to facilitate the personal process/healing, I offer the use of art therapy in private practice and with groups (monthly and summer residential) see other pages
I abide by the BACP Ethical Framework and by the French Association for Psychotherapy code of ethics.
I work in both french and english, being a french national who has lived and worked in england for many years.
